This is my most arduous project to date but my favorite. Taking over six months from start to finish it was a huge challenge. Whilst at University we were set a brief to interpret any of Edward Lear's poems into a series of illustrations. I chose to take Edward Lear's nonsense botany and create my own short story around this theme. The book was screen printed some pages up to eight layers consisting of ten pages of separate illustrations. I want to create more limited edition books like this and intend to start my second book over the summer and hope to have it finished by the end of summer.
