This was an initiated project which has taken me a few months to find the time to finish. I wanted to create a series of hand made wooden toys that were produced from reclaimed materials. I had to find all the materials in which to make the packaging and the dolls themselves, the wood was taken from my dad who is a joiner and together we came up with a template and hand crafted the ten wooden dolls. The paint used to cover the dolls was left over from decorating and the bag that the doll sits in was material that my next door neighbour had lying around. The only thing I bought was screen printing medium to mix with my inks to print the packaging (I know I'm cheap)There are ten dolls all together all with different names they are hand made from the hand sewn pouch to the screen printed packaging.
